North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks

Who We Are

The North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks (NCAMC) is dedicated to supporting the diverse and evolving needs of municipal clerks across the state. As a service-driven organization led by clerks, for clerks, we are committed to promoting excellence and professionalism within the field of municipal government.

Through high-quality educational offerings and meaningful networking opportunities, NCAMC empowers clerks to adopt and implement Best Practices that respond to the dynamic needs of the communities they serve. We recognize that the role of the municipal clerk is continually transforming—and today, more than ever, we embrace the identity of the "contemporary clerk."

While honoring the rich history of this time-honored government position, we also recognize our vital role as modern-day leaders. At our core, we are a community that believes in mutual support. The greatest service we offer is the knowledge, experience, and ideas we share with one another—and NCAMC provides the platform for that exchange.
